The RT 10 is a heavy duty flat-car type trailer. It is designed to be pulled or pushed by a Plasser MTW 100 Catenary Maintenance Vehicle at speeds up to 80 km/h.

Two wire reel racks with anti-backlash brakes are mounted on the Reel Trailer for wire reels. The reels are hydraulically powered. Safety hand railing is installed all around the deck of the Reel Trailer. Ground access steps are mounted on each corner. Also included is a double pulley attachment for the MTW 100's knuckle boom crane. This attachment allows wire that is being removed or installed to be threaded on or off the wire reels.
