The Plasser MTW 100 Catenary Inspection and Maintenance Car is a self-propelled, self-contained vehicle designed for efficient maintenance and inspection of catenary wire.

The machine is equipped with a telescopically raised and lowered work platform that rotates and a telescopic crane-mounted lift bucket.

The highly sophisticated catenary wire measuring system is fully computer controlled. The computer is able to store measured data for up to 160 km of track.
