The APT 1500 R C welding machine described in the following consists basically of the welding plant with all the associated auxiliary units mounted on a standard container frame. The benefit of this design is that the welding plant can be operated either on a truck with semitrailer or on a container wagon. For this purpose or for loading/unloading in a depot the basic frame is equipped with 4 hydraulically operated lifting cylinders.
