50 YEARS DOWN UNDER

Our History

Plasser Australia was established in 1970 as a member of the Austrian company Plasser & Theurer, manufacturing railway machinery for the construction and maintenance of rail track.

In 1980, the company moved to its present location at St Marys, with rail siding access to the New South Wales standard gauge rail system.

Since the beginning, we have been setting technological milestones enabling higher working speeds, higher quality of work and, on the bottom line, economic advantages for our customers and the railway.
